365 Days channel awarded special diploma at the Radonezh-2009 XIV International Festival of Orthodox Films and Television Programmes

The channel was awarded for the film «Out-of-the-way monastery, history goes on» by Andrey Voskresenskiy.
The film «Out-of-the-way monastery, history goes on» was part of the «Monastery Walls» series of films aired by the channel, depicting the role of monasteries in the life and the history of Russia. The Sanaxar Monastery, shown in the film, was destroyed after the revolution. There was a prison inside the monastery which stood empty for many years. Today, the monastery is being restored and services are already being held there.

365 Days channel won the «Big Digit 2010» First National Award in multi-channel digital TV in the «Educational Channel» nomination

In the category «New Russian Television», 365 Days channel was awarded in the «Educational Channel» nomination at the «Big Digit» National Awards.

On 3 February 2010, the winners' awards ceremony of the «Big Digit» National Award in multi-channel digital TV was held at Crocus City Hall.

The winners were determined by votes of a professional jury chaired by Anatoliy Lysenko, President of the International Academy of Television and Radio.

365 Days channel won the «Hero of Our Time 2010» Third All-Russia Festival of Socially Significant Television Programmes and Films

The results of the annual festival, established by the National Association of Broadcasters and supported by the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications, were announced on 28 August 2010 in Tver.

The jury awarded second place to 365 Days channel in the category «Documentary Films» for the work «I am my destiny myself». This film is about the life of Aleksey Leonov, a Soviet pilot-cosmonaut, with a monologue about his life journey, dreams and ideals. Awards in 10 nominations were presented at the festival.

«Hero of Our Time» is devoted to one of the «timeless» issues in Russian society and television which is represented in the name of the festival. In recent years, domestic television has created contradictory images of heroes, many of which stray far from traditional values. And values themselves have changed, at least among the majority of youth.

The festival aims to show the tendencies of how these processes are explored in television programmes and films, and how the developers of television images understand them. Every year, Russian television channels, independent TV studios and creative associations nominate their works at the «Hero of Our Time» television forum.

365 Days channel named best channel at HOT BIRD TV AWARDS 2010

The winners of the annual European HOT BIRD TV AWARDS 2010 competition have been announced.

Red Media Holding’s 365 Days channel was voted best documentary TV channel.

The awards ceremony was held on 19 November 2010, in the historic hall of Scuola Grande di San Giovanni Evangelista in Venice. In 2010, a record-breaking number of applications were filed for the competition – from 150 channels from 20 countries around the world. The winners were determined in 11 nominations. The jury of HOT BIRD TV AWARDS included authoritative representatives of the European media community.
